Award ceremony for the third Paolo Batoni Scholarship

On the occasion of the 14th edition of Naturalitas, held at the ITA Dionisio Anzilotti in Pescia, the award ceremony for the third scholarship dedicated to Paolo Batoni, former President of Flora Toscana, took place on Saturday 11 April.

This year’s project focused on the local area, with the redevelopment of the “Macchie di San Piero” roundabout, as part of the “Adopt a Green Area” initiative by the Municipality of Pescia.

An event that forms part of a wider initiative which, every year, brings together schools, the local area and the world of work, highlighting the importance of education in the horticultural sector.

The winners of this edition are:

  • Federico Tesi
  • Carrano Gioele
  • Fambrini Luca
  • Gentili Gabriel

All students from Class 5A, specialising in Agriculture, Agri-food and Agro-industry, with a focus on Environmental and Land Management.

Flora Toscana

Un percorso che continua nel tempo

La Borsa di Studio Paolo Batoni nasce con l’obiettivo di sostenere i giovani nel loro percorso formativo, creando un collegamento concreto tra studio e realtà professionale.

This third edition also confirms the commitment to investing in projects that combine technical skills, attention to the local area and planning ability, elements that are increasingly central to the future of the sector.

Education and Local Area

The award ceremony within Naturalitas strengthens the meaning of the initiative: not only a recognition, but part of a broader context in which education, environment and supply chain come together.

For Flora Toscana, supporting this path means contributing to the growth of new professional skills and maintaining an active dialogue with the younger generations.

Looking ahead

We believe that the future of the horticultural sector also starts here: from schools, from the skills developed over time, and from the ability to turn knowledge and planning into tangible experiences.

The Paolo Batoni Scholarship is a way to continue giving value to this path.
