WHAT IS FSC?

In 2019 Flora Toscana decided to utilise packaging made of FSC certified cardboard, contributing to a responsible management of forests of the world. In short, FSC promotes a respectful management of the environment throughout the world creating a sustainable social and working environment.

Forest Stewardship Council

The Forest Stewardship Council ®️ (FSC®️) is an international non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote a management of forest ecosystems, which guarantees the protection of the natural environment. Thus, bringing new advantages to the local populations and communities who depend on them, the workers who work there and ensuring an economic efficiency.

FLORA TOSCANA’S CHOICE

Flora Toscana’s choice is part of a larger project called “Flora Toscana per l’ambiente” (Flora Toscana for the Environment), which commits the cooperative into choosing products, adopting practices and values respectful of the environment. Only with the contribution of each one of us in our everyday life, at home and in the workplace, we can increase the importance of the reduction of waste and our environmental impact.
