What is FSC?

In 2019, we chose to adopt packaging made from FSC-certified cardboard, thereby contributing to the responsible management of the world’s forests.

In summary, FSC promotes forest management worldwide that is environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically sustainable.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote forest ecosystem management that safeguards the natural environment, delivers tangible benefits to the populations and local communities that depend on forests, supports the workers employed in the sector, and ensures economic efficiency.

Flora Toscana – our choice

This choice is part of a broader project of our cooperative called “Flora Toscana for the environment”, through which the cooperative is increasingly committed to choosing products, behaviours and values that respect the environment. Because only through the commitment of each and every one of us, in everyday life, at home and at work, can we together make a meaningful contribution to reducing waste and lowering our environmental impact.
